The Fantastic Gel Bikini

The Gel Bikini is the latest innovation in the women’s enhancing underwear range. It sometimes seems not all that long ago that the famed Wonderbra was the big thing to enable a woman to flaunt her assets in a way that leaves her feeling more confident, much more stunning, and dare we say it, feeling much more sexy and oozing sex appeal.

One big issue underlies this. You can not wear a bra on the beach. They were never designed for wearing in public. They are supposed to be worn under clothes only. In its time, the Wonderbra was all the rage. But what happens when a woman wants to go to the sauna or the beach? Oh dear, just when she was starting to feel super confident, she now has to show that her assets really are not the way the push up bra was making them appear.

That is banished to the past now. The gel bikini has arrived. Now you can appear good and feel wonderful on the sunny beach. You can now be part of the natural beauty instead of unsightly background noise.

That would be great to be part of the foreground instead of the background right? Even better if the friends that you have with you are naturally larger.

What’s the technology in enhancing bikinis? Well they are wish having a breast uplift without the surgery. Gel implants are present in the bikini to support and enhance the size of your boobs.

So a great way of naturally enhancing the appearance of your breasts without expensive surgery that may fail, cause complications or leave scarring.

Women expect much from their swimwear. They expect swimwear to work much more harder than bras. And it is obvious as to why. As a bra is worn underneath other clothing, it helps to enhance your silhouette, and you can use different clothing to change the outline of your figure. You are less able to modify your figure in swimwear as your body is exposed. People want their swimwear to much more than a bra. Your swimwear should feel comfortable and supportive as well as enhancing your assets.

To obtain an enhanced bust, the gel bikini serves those needs. No want to pay for expensive and potentially dangerous surgery whilst you can obtain a good natural appear.

Now you can enjoy the sauna and beaches in the knowledge that you look good in your gel bikini.

The History of the T-shirt

There probably isn’t a single person in the developed world who has not owned or at least heard of a t-shirt. There may be linguistic differences in reference to the collar-less, button-less, pull-over shirt with short sleeves, but its the same garment. T-shirts are usually made from cotton, or a cotton blend, knitted in a jersey stitch. Some modifications may occur to the basic cut and design, but often the changes will mean a name change. For example the addition of a vertical line of buttons on the front of the shirt, starting at the neckline would make it a Henley style shirt. Taking the sleeves off would produce a muscle shirt. Cutting off the lower half of the body of the t-shirt would produce a crop-top, worn mostly by women.

The chronicle of the t-shirt is closely linked with the history of undergarments, whose beginnings are traced back to ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. Loincloths became Braies (a pant-like garment) during the middle ages, and eventually a union suit. A union suit was a one piece front buttoning garment with both long sleeves and legs, essentially long johns. The Industrial Revolution brought with it (among other things) an explosion of mining activities, the invention of the spinning jenny and the cotton gin. The mass production of undergarments in particular meant a change in the style of the garment and how people attained them. Home-made union suits still had buttons and a low crew neck, while mass produced suits were more focused on comfort than durability.

The boom of the early 1900′s meant more competition among garment companies. Some tried to gain customers by offering seemingly innovative and often strange alterations to the union suit. In 1910 the Chalmers Knitting Company split the union suit in half and created possibly the first commercially produced garment originating from the medieval union suit: the t-shirt. Men who worked in hot and laborious jobs favored the t-shirt as more than just an undergarment. Miners, stevedores and farm workers adopted the t-shirt as a cool way to keep covered while working. However, there is evidence that during the Spanish-American War of 1898, the US Navy issued button-less short-sleeved crew necked t-shirts to their sailors as a garment to be worn under their uniforms. It became popular for sailors and marines to shed their uniform shirt and simply wear the t-shirt will working on submarines, in tropical climates or in a work party. The Great Depression saw the t-shirt become the garment most men and boys wore for all occasions. If working on the farm or ranch, the shirt would come off to keep in clean and keep the worker clean.

Following World War II there were two phenomenons that brought the t-shirt to another phase of fame: veterans returned home to wear their government issued t-shirt with their uniform pants and Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire. Women saw a great deal of sex appeal in handsome young veterans wearing a tight white t-shirt, and those who were not veterans took to initiating Mr. Brando. All around the t-shirt was making a big mark on pop culture.

T-shirts as wearable art and statements of protest began in the 1960′s, and possibly one of the first protest images was that of Cesar Chavez. But it wasn’t until the 1970′s that t-shirt designs really exploded. Creative minds all over North America began using the t-shirt as their billboard to the world with iconic images such as the yellow happy face, the Rolling Stones tongue and lips, and of course the tie-dyed t-shirt. Coca-Cola and Mickey Mouse began showing up as screen prints on t-shirts by the end of the 1970′s and early 1980′s. Soon all businesses of varying sizes were able to produce promotional t-shirts bearing their logo or slogan. Now the t-shirt as a promotional give-away makes up for more than 30% of all promo items given to potential customers.

The t-shirt is no longer just an undergarment. It is a fashion item, a billboard and a functional garment. Men working in hot and laborious environments are not the only ones wearing t-shirts anymore either. Women and children have their own designs, styles and statements in the t-shirt. There are no limits on the fabric t-shirts are made from either. Spandex, nylon, hemp, polyester and even UV protective fabrics are used. The t-shirt has come a long way from the union suit, but in some ways it has not changed at all.

The Don’ts of Wearing Shorts

Most men have decent enough legs to pull off wearing shorts, but there are a few rules that need to be discussed. Gentlemen please take note, this concerns you.

Size

There seems to be a fork in the road concerning size when certain men wear shorts. Some go for the two sizes too small and some go for the two sizes too large. Both are unflattering and one is offensive. No one has any desire to see your jingle jangle outlined in your shorts, except of course if you work in a particular type of establishment. Garments in general that are too large make the wearer look larger than they actually are. To ensure a proper fit, take your handy-dandy tape measure and wrap it around your waist, where your belt usually sits. Do not measure on top of your belt. After you take note of the measurement (in inches) set out to look for a pair of shorts in the same size as the measurement you took. Now here is the important part: try them on. Not at home, not in the middle of the store – in a change room. It is worth the extra five minutes. Not all clothing manufacturers use the same sizing scale when they cut fabric, so you cannot always rely on a 38 waist actually being 38 inches. Try them on.

Fabric

Wearing shorts made of good fabric is not as intimidating as it sounds. Here are some simple things to remember: shiny is bad, mesh is bad, fluorescent is bad, holes are bad, stains are bad. Athletic shorts are for the gym only, not for grocery shopping, dinner out, work, the bar, PTA meetings, playing golf or going to a movie. Mesh and fluorescent colors should not be worn at anytime. Any garment with holes or stains in it should be torn up and used as rags. Some good fabrics for shorts are cotton twill’s, linens, gaberdine or even denim if the style is done well.

Pleats

This one is simple. Pleats are only for the golf course. Dress pants should not even have pleats. They are not flattering for any body type.

Pockets

Every man needs sufficient pockets. Your wallet should not be large enough to misshape your pocket, and your cargo short pocket size should correspond with your age. A teen wearing cargo shorts will have pockets so large they cover most of the leg, but as the wearer grows older the cargo pockets should shrink until they disappear by the age of 50.

Cut offs

These are always a no-no. Always. Economizing by cutting off the legs of an old pair of pants to turn them into shorts is not acceptable. Do not tuck your t-shirt in, add a belt and clip your phone onto the belt either. The look is bad and unflattering. You will look more silly wearing this outfit on a hot day than just a full length pair of jeans.

Swimwear

Some men feel it is alright to wear swimwear all the time. Swimwear is for swimming just as cars are for driving. There are many gentlemen who have a pleasing physique and are very suited to wearing swimwear. To these men, the same rule applies, swimwear is for swimming.

Underwear

When you have picked a pair of shorts that fit properly, is made of a good fabric, do not have pleats or too many pockets, and did not used to be a pair of pants, then it is time to ensure you are wearing the correct underwear. It is most unfortunate when a gentleman is wearing a nice pair of tailored shorts and you can see the lines around his thighs from boxer briefs. Or perhaps he is sitting in a coffee shop and the legs of his boxer shorts are visible. The worst of course is a tatty band of worn out elastic showing above the waistband of the shorts. Gentlemen take this opportunity to look through your ancient collection of undergarments and assess the need for an underwear makeover. Are the boxers worn out and likely to show when wearing shorts? Are the briefs so worn out that a belt is needed just hold them up? Do the boxer briefs leave a line imprinted on your thigh from their old leg bands? Why not try some of the new styles of briefs available now. They are made from lighter more breathable fabrics and styled in such a way to protect the boys from overheating. Elastic bands are thinner and more comfortable. Plus, the choices are not just white, blue and black anymore. Patterns and colors for every taste are now available.

Boxers vs Briefs vs Boxer Briefs?

Men and women have been asking each other this question for far too long. Women have their own preference of what they like to see on men, but doesn’t it all boil down to the personal taste of the wearer? Is there a definitive answer? Are boxer shorts better than briefs? And are boxer briefs just a gimmick? Let’s take a look at the pros and cons.

Briefs

The most obvious advantage to wearing briefs is the support. The boys are well placed and safe. No errant dangling will occur and sometimes, they are even accentuated. Briefs don’t usually bunch up, although they are a great tool for locker room wedgies. They always look better on men in good physical shape, but then again everything does.

One disadvantage of briefs would be the notoriously useless overlapping ‘fly’. No one, no matter the level of endowment, can use that silly thing. Also, is it not strange that one can only find briefs in a jersey cotton? Once the waistband goes, you are in ghetto briefs – which is not flattering for anyone. Briefs can also have the most understandable habit of becoming baggy in the most unflattering areas.

Boxers

The boys like to have breathing room. They like to air out regularly and boxers great for allowing the boys to do so. Boxers have the added benefit of helping gentlemen who have a less than desirable physique to hide their extra rolls. After all, boxers can be hiked up without damaging the package. The front ‘fly’ is easily used and boxers can be found in a wide variety of fabrics and patterns. Silk, woven cotton, even wool if you wish. Additionally, your neighbors will not mind you heading down the driveway to fetch the paper while wearing your boxers.

On the downside, the boys have zero support in boxers. If you wear tight pants to help with support, but still wear boxers, then you get into an area of bunching up and unsightly bulges in odd places. The waistband can become uncomfortable as it is usually thicker than those on briefs. Of course the biggest drawback to boxers is the wedgie potential. One swift tug of the rear waistband and you have yourself a painful experience.

Boxer Briefs

The main advantage of boxer briefs is also the most surprising: women LOVE boxer briefs. No one really knows why, but lets just go with it. All the advantages that come with briefs also apply here. The boys are well supported, there is no dangling and the right places are accentuated.

Of course that also means all the disadvantages apply here as well. A couple additional things to consider: the seams on the legs of the boxer briefs can become tight and uncomfortable. Not to mention visible through pants when one is in a sitting position. And some men find the boxer briefs too warm.

A discussion of undergarment preferences is not complete without considering the growing trend of wearing none at all. Some refer to this practice as ‘free-balling’, ‘going commando’ or ‘going regimental’. While the preference is understandable, especially in hot climates, one must consider the dangers of not having your boys protected. Hot or cold drinks spilled on the groin area can be painful and having an extra layer of fabric will help buffer the skin. Chaffing can occur and could prevent recreational activities for a period of time. Zippers are a serious hazard as well. Hygiene can become an issue as dirt, dust and lint will work its way into any opening.

In a diverse world such as we live in, there are options for every taste. Make sure to consider all the variables before choosing your undergarment ritual.
